New Energy a welcome development

Survey results in welcome offers of assistance

The momentum created by the projects three day Future Search is set to continue following a influx of new energy.

All 76 particpants to the 30th Oct-1st November Hui were encouraged to complete a post event survey to receive feed-back on the running of the event and it’s content.

The current project workstreams were elated with the responses which were peppered with offers of assistance ensuring the efforts to protect and restore Waiheke’s marine environment will continue.

So to harness this enthusiasm a mini-hui was quickly planned for 17th November engaging these people in the planning of the next Public meeting.

This next public meeting on 26th November at Morra Hall will include a presentation of the Future Search journey and includes actual written notes rescued from the walls of the hui venue, Ahipao. An information and input session is planned for 1:30 to 3:30pm and then moves to a facilitated phase from 6pm-8pm. This will hear and absorb additional public input, particularly from those not able to make the Future Search itself.

New Energy Hui is 17th November 2020 at Waiheke Adult Learning - Oneroa, 6pm until 7.30pm
