“Haere mai ki te awhi mātou i whakapai Tū i te repo ō Okahuiti ki Te Toki” – Join us on our ‘give back day to te Taiao with a clean up of our wetlands. Kym Rawson and Kristin Busher will be giving a kōrero about the ecology of our repo while Leigh Takirau (Ngāti Paoa, Pou Kōkiri – WMP) will be weaving matauranga through.

We will be finishing up with lunch/BBQ and kōrero

Schedule:

10 am meet at the Wilma Road Te Toki Reserve entrance

12:30 drive to Shelly Beach for a BBQ provided by WMP.
Carpooling is encouraged!

We also require vehicle support to collect the bigger pieces of rubbish so if you have a ute and would like to help in this way please get in touch.
