Manta Watch NZ is coming to Waiheke Island!

Join Manta Watch NZ & Waiheke Marine Project for an evening of manta madness, marine education and community conservation. MWNZ Founder, Lydia Green will be presenting the project's short film: Manta Watch - Discovering Aotearoa's Gentle Giants, talking all things manta and sharing the latest project updates.

Waiheke Resources Trust are hosting this special event and will also be launching another year of their fantastic Marine Education Initiative, which runs in all of Waiheke’s schools – so bring the whānau and find out what your tamariki will be learning in 2025.

Waiheke Marine Project will be showcasing projects which range from the annual Kōura surveys and regeneration diving through to the restoration of coastal habitats above and below the waterline.

There will be kai and plenty of time for questions and chats.
