The role of the KG coordinator is to tell the story of kelp regeneration and kina rebalancing, to ensure smooth operations of kina removals and distribution to end users, to  organise and facilitate Kelp Gardener Mana Whenua led days. And respectfully share the lessons learned along the way. The role will be assisted by  a mana whenua intern for the summer.

 This is a chance to build on your interest and talents for caring for the ocean. It is a collaborative role needing high people skills and competency with Te Ao Māori.  The role is a contract for flexible hours over 5 months from 10th December 2022 to end April 2023.
